Anyone have a good vacuum?  My vacuum never picks up everything .  I haven’t had it for too long, so it should do better than it does.  I tried changing the filters and cleaning out the hose, but that didn’t really make a difference.  I also bought a little stick vac which is worthless.  I’ve heard the Dysons are great but they cost a ton, so I’m reluctant to buy one without knowing if it really works how it says it does.  Anyone have any ideas?

As a mother and a teacher, things tend to be a chaotic sometimes.  I know if I were a little more organized, I could save myself a lot of time.  The DYMO label maker can help with that.  The first thing I would do with my DYMO labeler is organize my kids’ toys.  I have bins everywhere that have specific function and hold certain toys, but no one know that because there is no label.  If I labeled the bin “blocks” even my husband could help put toys away!  Then everything would be there when we need it.  The next thing I would do is organize my kitchen with labels to mark where dishes go, what each container holds, and where to put the snacks.  Then one to the office.  If your home is like mine, the office is a umping ground of mail, papers, and supplies.  By simply labeling some File folders, shelves, and drawers, the office would be a lot less cluttered.  As a teach, I would love a DYMO labeler.  Shelves, bins, and folders always need to be labeled, and tape just doesn’t cut it.  And, it parents would just label their kids’ lunch boxes, binders, uniforms, and backpacks, it would make my job so much easier.  There are 1,001 different uses for the DYMO labeler, and I’m just getting started.  How about you?

I have an 8 month old girl who has decided not to eat baby food. At 5 months she starting eating cereal with no problem then went on to vegetables. However, by 7 months she began to reject all baby food and anything else I tried to feed her on a spoon. She would shake her head and scream whenever I tried. I thought maybe she just wanted to feed herself, so I gave the spoon to her, but she wasn’t coordinated enough to get the food to her mouth. I even let her use her fingers, but she wasn’t interested in the baby food by 8 months. So now she eats table food, about 2 months early by most standards. She likes mac and cheese and bread, and I do my best to get all the fruits and veggies in her that I can. Also, she refuses to sit in her high chair, she sits in a booster seat just like big brothers, and she rips off every bib I put on her. I think she’s going to be a tough one.

So, you’ve heard me talk about VistaPrint before.  They offer great custom printing at low prices.  I’ve ordered business cards from them as well as return address labels, both of which are beautiful.  My sister ordered a website to match her business cards.  Everything they offer can be customized just how you want it.  They have hundreds of templates you can use, or you can utilize their designers and tell them what you want.  Right now, they have great offers going on that you can’t miss.  One such offer is a great deal on Rubber Stamps.  Use code STAMPS50 to get 50% off the regular price of small rubber stamps.  What a great offer!  Rubber stamps are a great time saver.  Stamp on messages such as ‘paid’, ’sign here’ or ‘thank you’ on papers that cross your desk.  Or add your address or signature quick and easy with a rubber stamp.  VistaPrint has great service and high quality products that are useful every day.  Their customer service is helpful.  I needed to call them on one occasion and the issue was settled quickly.  They have other great offers on address labels, inviations, T-shirts, and more.  Check out VistaPrint for all your printing needs.

As a breastfeeding mom, I’ve become pretty accustomed to breastfeeding in public.  I don’t think there’s a problem with it.  If a mom wants to pull out the boob and feed her kid, she should feel as comfortable doing that as a parent pulling out a bottle.  I tend to try to be discrete, especially somewhere like a restaurant or Church, using a cover or blanket so as not to expose myself, but that’s definately not required.  So, why is it that people are still so uncomfortable with breastfeeding in public?  WIth all the research of the benefits to both mother and child, I would think this would be a welcome sight to see.  Instead, still, many breastfeeding mothers are glared at and made to feel like they are not welcome.  Many feel the need to hide what they do instead of celebrate this special bond of mother and child.  How sad for us.

I want to hear what you think about this, leave me a comment on my blog.
