I’m a stay at home mom. I can’t say that I get out much, although I’m trying. The bigger problem I have is finding other adults to talk to, namely women. Most of my friends are still single and work a lot. The moms I know also work and are really busy. When I do finally get some time without the kids, there is no one to hang out with. I usually end up shopping or eating alone. When my husband gets home from work he is barbarded with stories of the day, he is the only adult I see most days.
