I have the world’s messiest floors.  With 2 small kids that drop ffood all over, I can’t keep the floors clean.  And I hate mopping.  I usually end up on my hands and knees with a putty knife scraping the sticky stuck on food off the floor.  I’ve seen commercials for those steam mops.  Do they work?  I have a shark but it is so loud I never use it.  Anyone have any ideas?

I read your post and can totally relate. My 3 also fall into the “messy floors R us” category. We have tile in the dining room area, so we have been using the swiffer wetjet. it works well, now i just need to figure out what to do with the pet hair that seems to collect in corners!

Thanks I’ll give that a try. I use the Swiffer wet pads, but I don’t have the WetJet.

yeah, the steam thing on TV totally works. My friend has one, and no joke, I always want to clean her floors. Wow. I’m a dork. But it works like magic. She used a Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupon to buy her’s.

Great! I want to try one of those steam mops, but I have so many little cleaning gadgets that my husband would freak if I bought one right now. The BBandB coupon is a good idea. I’ll have to wait a few months.
